Company settings
Where to find the 21 settings sections, how they save and which ones can only be changed on the web.
The Company Settings screen gathers everything you set once and use everywhere: legal identity, logo, contact details, document numbering, Peppol, accounting firm, bank accounts, beneficial owners. A left-hand column lists the 21 sections, grouped into five families; the card on the right shows the active section. Careful settings here save you corrections on every invoice and every export.
- The left column lists the sections, grouped by theme.
- Click General information to open the section.
- The form of the section appears on the right.
- Edit a field, for example the trade name.
- The indicator confirms that all changes are saved.
Open the settings
- In the sidebar, click Settings.
- The General Information section opens by default. Click an entry in the left-hand column to change section.
- The page address remembers the section (
#peppol,#banking...): you can bookmark it or share it with a colleague.
On a narrow screen, the left-hand column becomes a Navigation Menu button that unfolds the list of sections.
At the top of the column, the card recalls the company name and e-mail, its logo or, failing that, its first letter on a gradient of your brand colours. A Peppol badge appears as soon as your Peppol identifier is active.

« Fiche BCE » only appears when the country is Belgium and a VAT number has been entered. Wallet and Point of Sale stay greyed out with a padlock until the matching add-on is active; clicking them opens the subscription panel.
Automatic saving
There is no Save button for the company fields: each field saves on its own.

The header banner shows Saving… while sending, then « Toutes les modifications enregistrées » (all changes saved). A Saved message confirms each field; if the server refuses, « Erreur d'enregistrement » (save error) is shown with the reason.
A few items go through a window with an explicit button: adding a bank account or a card (Save), requesting a Peppol identifier (« Envoyer la demande », send the request), linking an accounting firm. On the web, the list of beneficial owners is confirmed with Save; in the app, it synchronises on its own.
If you change section while a field is still saving, the upload finishes normally. Still, wait for « Toutes les modifications enregistrées » before closing the app.
Read-only sections in the app
In the desktop and mobile app, the following sections can be viewed but are changed on web.novadesko.com: « Fiche BCE » (synchronised from the CBE), Wallet, Place, Route Sheets, Point of Sale, « Serveur SMTP », Warehouses, Nova VCard and Sidebar. They show the « Modifiable sur le web » (editable on the web) banner and an « Ouvrir sur le web » (open on the web) button that opens the right section directly. The Vehicles section lists the fleet and lets you set the default vehicle or delete one, but adding is done through « Ajouter sur le web » (add on the web). In Legal Documents, uploading a PDF is also done on the web.
Dark mode
The settings follow the app theme: the cards, the navigation column and the fields switch to dark without changing layout.
- Click your name at the bottom of the sidebar.
- The user menu opens.
- Turn on the Dark mode switch.
What is not set here
Your personal details, your password and two-factor authentication are in Profile Settings, a separate screen with its own Cancel and Save Changes buttons. Dark mode, the interface language and the shortcuts are in the preferences.
- The tabs separate personal information, security, notifications and preferences.
- Check the e-mail address of the account.
- Click the save button to confirm.
