Demo mode
Discover Novadesko on a demo account, with step-by-step guided tours and fictional data that is cleaned up automatically.
Demo mode signs you in to a pre-filled demo account, then offers guided tours: a bubble highlights the element to look at, explains what it does and lets you click it yourself, or does it for you. Nothing you create there leaves the demo.
What you will do
- Enter demo mode from the application.
- Launch a guided tour and follow it step by step.
- Clean up or leave the demo.
Entering demo mode
- Open the application's
/demoaddress (for example app.novadesko.com/demo). The « Découvrez Novadesko » (discover Novadesko) page appears. - If you are already signed in with your own account, the application asks « Passer en mode démo ? » (switch to demo mode?): click « Passer en mode démo » to be signed out and switch to the demo account, or « Rester connecté » (stay signed in).
- A « Mode démo · données fictives, rien ne sort de la démo » (demo mode · fictional data, nothing leaves the demo) banner appears at the top of the screen as long as the demo is active, with the « Visites guidées » (guided tours) and « Quitter la démo » (leave the demo) buttons.
The demo account is shared and its data is made up. Do not enter any real or confidential information. If signing in to the demo account fails, the page shows « Démo indisponible » (demo unavailable) and a Try again button.
The guided tours
The « Découvrez Novadesko » page presents the tours as cards, with their duration, their number of steps and a Read only or « Écrit puis nettoie » (writes then cleans up) badge.

- Click « Lancer » (launch) on the card of your choice. A tour you have already done carries the Completed badge and the button becomes « Relancer » (launch again).
- Read the bubble. When it invites you to act ("Click Create, or Next"), you can click the highlighted element yourself, or let Next do it for you.
- Move forward with Next, go back with Previous. The counter at the bottom of the bubble shows the current step.
- At the last step, click Finish: the tour is marked as completed and you return to the tours page.

The address /demo?tour=create-invoice launches the Create an invoice tour directly as soon as the page opens.
What is fictional, and the clean-up
Everything a tour creates carries the mention (démo) in its name or reference: invoice, customer, supplier. These items are deleted at the end of the tour, or as soon as you leave it. The tours page shows the number of demo items still to clean up, and the « Réinitialiser les données de démo » (reset demo data) button deletes all customers, suppliers and documents marked (démo), without touching the account's base data.
Actions that would have an effect outside the application are simulated: the OCR import in the Novadesko Intelligence tour sends nothing to the analysis server.
Guided tours only work with the demo account. If you launch a tour while signed in with another account, the application shows « Les visites guidées ne fonctionnent qu'avec le compte de démonstration. » (guided tours only work with the demo account) and does nothing.
Leaving the demo
Click « Quitter la démo » (leave the demo) in the banner or on the tours page, then confirm « Quitter » (leave). The current tour is stopped, the (démo) items are deleted and you are signed out of the demo account. Then sign in with your own account.
An online demo, with no installation, will be offered at https://novadesko.com/fr/demo.
