Create your account and the registration quiz
From the sign-up form to your Novadesko workspace, through e-mail verification and the steps of the Nova quiz.
A Novadesko account takes a few minutes to create. From the login screen, the Sign up link opens the registration quiz: Nova, the assistant, asks you one question at a time, from your name to your bank account, and fills in your company record from your VAT number. The desktop app also offers a classic form, which is documented first.
What you will do
- Create your credentials (name, e-mail, password).
- Verify your e-mail address or your mobile number.
- Describe your company in the quiz: country, VAT, address, sector, bank, Peppol, accountant.
- Accept the terms and create your workspace.
The sign-up form
- Type your first name.
- Then your last name.
- Your e-mail must be unique.
- Tick the terms and conditions.
- Click Sign up: a verification e-mail is sent to you.

- Fill in the fields, then click Sign up. You can also choose Continue with Apple or Continue with Google.
- Open the e-mail you receive and click the verification link. If no e-mail arrives, click Resend verification email; remember to check your Spam or Junk folder.
- You can also verify by SMS: Send SMS code, then enter the six digits and click Verify code. The Resend code link becomes active again after 60 seconds.
The Nova quiz, step by step
The quiz starts with the choice of language, then runs through the steps below. The counter in the top right shows your progress; some steps are skipped when they do not apply to you.
- Nova speaks the language you choose here.
- Click your language.
- Let's go opens the first question.

The steps that matter
- The counter shows your progress through the quiz.
- Type your first name.
- Then your last name.
- Continue moves to the next question; Back goes back.
- Enter your First name and Last name, then Continue. The Back button always returns to the previous step.
- Enter your e-mail; an existing account offers Log in.
- The password needs at least 8 characters.
- Confirm it identically.
- Continue validates your details.
- Enter your Email and Password (at least 8 characters). If an account already exists with this e-mail, Nova offers Log in so you can add a company to your existing account.
- Nova announces the three blocks that follow.
- Continue starts your company setup.
- Belgium is offered by default.
- Elsewhere? Switch this on, then Join the waiting list.
- Continue with Belgium moves on to VAT.
- Click Continue with Belgium. If your company is elsewhere, switch on My business is not in Belgium and click Join the waiting list.
- Switch on I have a VAT number.
- Type the number as 0XXX.XXX.XXX: Nova queries VIES.
- Without a number, simply move on.
- Continue opens the company form.
- Switch on I have a VAT number and enter it in the format
0XXX.XXX.XXX. Nova queries VIES: if the number is valid, the name, address and legal form are filled in and locked, with the VIES badge. Without a number, simply move on.
- The name filled by VIES is locked, with the VIES badge.
- Choose the legal form.
- Type the business e-mail.
- Continue moves on to the registered office.
- Complete what VIES did not fill in: Legal form, Business email, Phone.
- Continue to the summary, tick « J'accepte les Conditions Générales de Vente et les Conditions Générales d'Utilisation de Novadesko » (I accept Novadesko's Terms of Sale and Terms of Use), then click Create my Novadesko workspace.
Warning
Your answers are not saved along the way: if you reload the page, the quiz starts again from the beginning. Allow about three minutes.
Note
A VAT number already registered with Novadesko blocks the step (« Ce numéro de TVA est déjà enregistré », this VAT number is already registered). If the company is yours, contact support from the help bubble in the bottom right.
Tip
The Enter key validates the current step. The IBAN and Peppol can be added later in the settings.
