The dashboard

The four key figures, the sales / purchases balance, the chart and the lists that summarise your activity over the chosen period.

The Dashboard is the first screen after signing in. It summarises your activity over a period (the last 30 days by default): revenue, VAT, transactions, profit, then the lists of what needs your attention.

The dashboard: header, key figures block, balance and chart
  1. The displayed period is chosen here.
  2. The indicators are computed over this period.
  3. Unpaid invoices stay visible at all times.

The header

The header card shows the Dashboard title, the current period (for example 06-09-2026 - 05-10-2026), the Customize button and the Period selector. See Choose the period and Customise the dashboard.

Above it, an amber Missing bank account banner appears as long as no IBAN is saved: the « Connecter un compte bancaire » (connect a bank account) button opens the linking window. See Bank link on the dashboard.

The key figures

The indigo block holds four columns. All of them depend on the selected period.

Column Main value Detail lines
Revenue Gross (incl. VAT) Net (excl. VAT), Today (incl. VAT), Total sales (number of invoices)
VAT due or VAT recoverable VAT balance for the period (amber if due, green if recoverable) Collected VAT, Deductible VAT, Outstanding balance
Transactions Total movements for the period Bank balance (if a bank is linked), Unpaid invoices
Profit Profit excl. VAT (green if positive, red if negative) Margin, Evolution compared with the previous period, "compared to" with the dates

When bank synchronisation is active, the Transactions column carries the Sync active badge, or « Connexion expirée » (connection expired) if the PSD2 consent needs renewing.

Note

The Evolution line compares the profit with an immediately preceding period of the same length. It shows "No comparison" as long as that period has no data.

Sales / purchases balance

The Sales / purchases balance card sets Sales excl. tax against Expenses excl. tax: the two amounts, their share as a percentage and a two-colour bar (indigo for sales, red for purchases). Without data, the bar stays neutral at 50 / 50.

The chart

The Sales evolution chart and the three lists
  1. The chart compares sales and purchases month by month.
  2. The recent transactions and the best customers are listed below.

The Sales evolution tab plots Revenue incl. VAT and Expenses per day, or per month as soon as the period exceeds 60 days. The two buttons on the right switch between « Barres » (bars) and « Aires » (areas); the choice is remembered. Hover over a bar to read the exact amount.

Warning

The Sales distribution tab (by category or by product) shows "No data" in the app: this view is available on web.novadesko.com.

The lists

List Content View all link

The Best sellers, Top customers and Top geographic areas lists are computed from the period's invoices; they disappear when the period contains no sales.

Loading

The dashboard while loading

On first display, each card is replaced by an animated skeleton of the same size. When the period changes, the figures remain visible and a Loading... badge appears in the top right. If loading fails, the Loading error card offers Try again.

Tip

The rankings read the lines of the 60 most recent invoices in the period: on a busy company, they arrive one or two seconds after the key figures.
