Customise the dashboard
Hide or show widgets again, return to the default layout, switch to dark mode and install the Treasury widget on macOS.
The Customize button in the header opens the dashboard settings window. In the app, customising means showing or hiding each widget; the order remains the one described in The widgets. The choice is saved on the device and applies as soon as the window closes.
What you will do
- Hide unnecessary widgets and show them again later.
- Return to the default layout.
- Switch on dark mode.
- Install the Trésorerie Novadesko widget on macOS.
Showing or hiding a widget
- Click Customize in the dashboard header.
- The Customize window ("Choose the widgets shown on your dashboard.") lists the ten widgets, each with a switch.
- Switch off a widget: it disappears from the dashboard immediately, behind the window.
- Click Done.

To show everything again, click Reset in the same window.
The setting is specific to the device: hiding a widget on your Mac does not hide it on your phone or on web.novadesko.com. The chart type (« Barres » (bars) or « Aires » (areas)) is remembered in the same way.
The customisation drawer on web.novadesko.com goes further: drag and drop to reorder, resize the width, choice of key figures mode (4 cards, Summary, Block), Compact or Cards display of the bank link, layout saved per user and per company. These settings are not carried over to the app.
Dark mode
- The cards keep their colours in both themes.
- The charts adapt to the light or dark background.
- Switch the theme of this page to see this view in dark mode.
Dark mode is switched on from the sidebar menu, with the Dark Mode switch (it becomes Light Mode once enabled). The dashboard keeps its brand colours on the key figure and bank cards; the white cards, the page background and the charts switch to dark shades. See Dark mode.
The Treasury widget on macOS
The macOS app provides a widget for Notification Centre and the desktop.
- Open the Novadesko app at least once and display the dashboard: the app writes a snapshot of the cash position to a shared container.
- On the desktop, right-click, choose Edit Widgets and search for Trésorerie Novadesko ("Your cash position at a glance.").
- Choose the small or medium size and place the widget.

The widget re-reads the snapshot every 30 minutes. It does not contact the server: to update the amount, open the app, and the dashboard writes a new snapshot.
If the widget stays on "Open the app" after you open the app, check that you actually displayed the dashboard and not another screen: that is what feeds the widget.
