This page lists the changes to the Novadesko apps (macOS, Linux, web app.novadesko.com) by version, most recent first. Each entry links to the documentation for the feature. The version number is shown on the download page novadesko.com/telecharger.

Note

The web version updates itself: reload the page. On macOS and Linux, download the new version from the download page; the Linux .tar.gz archive is reinstalled with each version. See macOS, Linux, web and mobile apps.

Version 1.2.1: 6 October 2026

New

  • Full dashboard: the four key figures, the widget gallery with show or hide for each one, and the period selector. See The dashboard.
  • Full document form: product lines, section headings, free text and page breaks, VAT schemes, discounts and « Simple » / « Avancé » (simple / advanced) switch. See Create an invoice.
  • Novadesko Intelligence in three steps: document type, upload, check of the extracted data before import. See Import documents in 3 steps.
  • Customer, supplier and product records: full forms with VIES check and duplicate detection. See Create a customer.
  • Route sheets and vehicles: trips, mileage calculation, allowances and export. See Record a trip.
  • Support tickets: opening, tracking and replying in the messaging module. See Support tickets.
  • Notifications page: All, Unread and Read tabs, marking as read, link to the relevant screen. See Notifications.
  • 21 settings sections: identity, documents, Peppol, accounting, bank accounts, UBO and the others, with automatic saving. See Company settings.
  • Profile and two-factor authentication: personal information, password, approval of new sign-ins. See Account security.
  • Sign-up with the Nova quiz: creation of the account and the company from the VAT number. See Create your account.
  • Demo mode and guided tours: demo account, three step-by-step tours, automatic clean-up. See Demo mode.
  • Documentation site docs.novadesko.com, of which this page is part. See Introducing Novadesko.

Known limits

  • Windows: not yet available; use the web version. See Apps.
  • Linux x64: the package is published separately from the others and may carry an earlier version number. See Apps.
  • Document form fields: language, bank account, template, internal notes, section headings, free text and advanced fields are not yet saved by the mobile API; finalise them on the web. See Create an invoice.
  • Route sheet export: only the CSV is produced; the formatted PDF export remains available on the web. See Export the route sheet.
  • Read-only sections: CBE record, Wallet, Place, Point of Sale, SMTP server, Warehouses, Nova VCard and Sidebar are edited on the web. See Company settings.

  • Web version at app.novadesko.com, built from the same application as the desktop, with no installation. See Apps.

  • Messaging: conversation list, thread refreshed every 6 seconds, sending messages. See Conversations.
  • OCR import from the document list: drop a file and the server creates the document. See Import documents in 3 steps.
  • Creating and editing customers, suppliers and products. See Create a customer.
  • PSD2 bank connection: choice of bank, consent on the bank's website, status tracking. See Connect your bank.
  • Distribution: macOS Apple Silicon and Intel disk images, Linux .deb and .tar.gz packages, download page novadesko.com/telecharger. See Apps.

  • Desktop window: opens centred at 90 % of the screen, aurora background kept under forms. See Dark mode and appearance.

Version 1.0.0: 4 October 2026

  • First Novadesko desktop app, with an "aurora glass" interface and light and dark themes. See Dark mode and appearance.
  • Dashboard: cash position, key figures, unpaid invoices and latest transactions. See The dashboard.
  • Documents: list, creation, editing and deletion with lines and totals, payments on a document. See Invoices.
  • Cash transactions: incoming and outgoing movements entered by hand. See Add a movement.
  • Bank Sync: synchronised accounts and bank movements. See Bank accounts.
  • Customers, suppliers and products: lists and records. See The customer record.

  • System notifications on desktop: native alerts when a new notification arrives. See Notifications.
  • macOS Treasury widget: your total cash position on the desktop or in Notification Centre, refreshed every 30 minutes. See Customise the dashboard.
